Mad Max. The movie that wasn’t his.

It was very, very, very, beautifully shot. The story was pretty much a giant chase scene. The characters were all very smart and clever. Even the villains. They knew the world and how the machines in that world operated.

They did a lot of cliche things with most of the character. Changing the sides and having love and sacrifice, but it never seemed forced. None of this movie seemed forced, from the explosions and introduction of the minor characters. George Miller, took his time with this movie and got a lot out of his actors.

My only fault with the movie is that Tom Hardy. While he played his character well. The insane loner who grunts and moans. Seeing his past haunting him, I just wanted more out of his character. But he played the role he was give.

The movie tho wasn’t a Mad Max movie. It was about Furiosa. Charlize Theron was brilliant in this role, she played her character well. She played her so well, that you didn’t see her fear throughout this film. Given where it started and where it went within 2 hours.

This is a good movie, not as epic as most say. I still very much enjoyed it, and I can say I enjoyed every character in this film.
